QUICK NOTE ON THIS NOW BEING A PAID PRODUCT

For the first month or 2 of its release, this was a free template. Based on the response, I've decided to build out a bunch of these templates to help as many of you as I can (and to support making this content without having to sell the 5,000,000th JS course). These take a lot of time to put together, so leaving them as free is infeasible.

First off, if you don't know me, my name is Tom. I make videos on TikTok & YouTube where I teach web dev stuff & talk about tech careers.

As developers (especially NEW developers) we have to put our best foot forward if we hope to land an interview.

So often there are hundreds of other engineers vying for the same jobs that we are. It's competitive.

No one ever said landing a $100k+ job would be easy...

...okay, maybe some influencers did. They're dumb :)

Point is though, it can be hard to stand out, and even with a solid list of projects, skills, & even experience, a lacking portfolio can hurt your chances.

Here's the thing...

We're not designers.

We're developers.

Even I, admittedly, am not a designer.

I'm a "good for a developer" designer i suppose (as in my personal projects tend to get compliments etc)

But I have seen that my portfolios tend to get solid results (both for myself, and for a hand full of friends who I've given them to).

So I decided I'd make some & provide them to you guys.

You're devs. You can take them, edit them, flip them on their heads, leave them as is, whatever you want.

You know how to do all of that.

This is simply meant to be a good starting block for you to present yourself & your work in a way that's simple, easily digestible for both HR AAAAAND engineering managers, and decreases your chances of landing interviews because of a lacking, confusing, poorly formatted portfolio.
